40 Kilograms of Chili Harvested in Petamburan

Today, Central Jakarta Government harvests a lot of chili in urban farming land on Jalan Jati Pinggir RT 01/01, Petamburan, Tanah Abang.

Meanwhile, Central Jakarta Maritime Agriculture and Food Tenacity (KPKP) Sub-dept. Head, Bayu Sari Hastuti said, only this land from total 50 urban farming lands in the area that has large planting field and its yields can be sold.

"Its width is around 3,000 square meters. Today's yield reaches 40 kilograms of big chili and curly chili," she informed.

At the same location, Andi, one of trained farmers said, this is the fourth harvest. It can produce 20 kilograms chilies every harvest.

"2,500 of this 3,000-square-meter land has been planted with trees," he mentioned.
